Paldea Evolved arrived in 2023 as a cornerstone set for the modern Pokémon TCG, building on the Scarlet and Violet era with fresh mechanics and compelling artwork. The Cosmos Holo treatment represented an aesthetic shift in the hobby, offering collectors an elegant alternative to traditional full-art treatments. This set became a staple for players and collectors alike, balancing competitive viability with visual appeal. Pupitar, the rock-type evolution line's middle stage, captures an intermediate form often overlooked in favor of its final evolution. The Cosmos Holo finish gives this card a distinctive shimmer and depth that brings out the character's geological texture. Collectors appreciate Pupitar cards as important stepping stones in evolution sets and for the visual impact the special holo treatment provides.
