# Card Notes: Grafaiai The Pokémon Mega Evolution series represents a significant chapter in the modern trading card era, introducing mechanics that expanded strategic gameplay and visual design. Released in 2025, this set captured collectors' attention during a period when Pokémon TCG continued to balance nostalgia with contemporary appeal. Reverse holographic treatments became increasingly sought after for their distinctive aesthetic, offering collectors an alternative to traditional full-art presentations while maintaining the card's core identity. Grafaiai, the toxic monkey Pokémon, appears here with the dynamic energy characteristic of Mega Evolution era artwork. The reverse holo treatment enhances the card's visual appeal, creating an iridescent effect that brings the illustration to life. Collectors are drawn to this card for its striking design and the rarity associated with reverse holo variants, making it a meaningful addition to both Grafaiai enthusiasts and comprehensive Pokémon TCG collections.
