Card Notes
Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle Earth arrived in 2023 as Magic's most ambitious crossover set to date. Wizards of the Coast partnered with the Tolkien Estate to create a comprehensive exploration of Middle Earth within Magic's game mechanics, resulting in a set that appealed equally to longtime players and fantasy literature enthusiasts discovering the card game for the first time. Fangorn, the ancient tree shepherd, represents the set's commitment to capturing the essence of Tolkien's most iconic characters and beings. This card captures the slow, deliberate power of Fangorn and his forest, making it a compelling addition for collectors drawn to the set's remarkable artwork and the chance to own a piece of Middle Earth translated into gaming form.
