Panini's Dragon Ball Z: Awakening launched in 2016 as the English-language TCG revival fans had anticipated for years. Following the original Score trading card game, this new iteration brought modern card design and competitive gameplay to the beloved franchise, establishing itself as the primary DBZ collectible for the next generation. The Starter Deck foils remain foundational pieces of early Awakening collections. Saiyan Drive By captures dynamic action central to the franchise's appeal—raw power and speed in a single frame. This card's foil treatment exemplifies the visual quality that drew collectors to Awakening's launch, combining vibrant artwork with the tactile appeal of premium finishes that defined early set chase cards.
