The Carddass Visual Adventure Special Dragon Ball Prism set represents a notable entry in the long tradition of Dragon Ball trading cards produced for the Chinese market. Released in 2013, these holographic prism cards captured the enduring appeal of Akira Toriyama's franchise during a period of renewed interest in vintage anime properties. The set exemplifies the creative card manufacturing techniques employed across Asian markets, where foil and prism technology created collectible products distinct from their Japanese counterparts. This card features one of Dragon Ball's most iconic scenes, rendered in the shimmering prism finish that defines the set's visual identity. Collectors seek out these Chinese Carddass releases for their unique artwork presentation and relative scarcity in the Western hobby, where they remain less commonly encountered than Japanese or American Dragon Ball cards. The prism effect gives the imagery distinctive depth and movement.
