# Card Notes The Carddass Visual Adventure Special Dragon Ball Prism series represents a significant chapter in Dragon Ball's international trading card history. Released in 2013, this Chinese-language prism set captured the franchise during a period of renewed global interest, offering collectors a distinctly different aesthetic from Japanese counterparts. Prism technology created dynamic holographic effects that made these cards visually striking, and Chinese releases like this one have become increasingly sought after as collectors recognize their regional importance and relative scarcity in Western markets. King Kai and the Do-Gooder presents a memorable moment from Dragon Ball's narrative, bringing together characters central to the series' training and comedic elements. The prism finish transforms the artwork into a shimmering display piece, with the holographic layers amplifying the card's visual appeal. Collectors value this card for both its subject matter and the technical craftsmanship of the prism process, making it a standout example of international Dragon Ball cardmaking from this era.
