Paldean Fates arrived in 2024 as a special collection celebrating the Scarlet and Violet era of Pokémon. This set distinguished itself by featuring Shiny variants of beloved Pokémon, offering collectors a fresh take on classic designs with alternate colorways. The combination of modern production quality and the appeal of these rare palette swaps made Paldean Fates a notable release for both casual players and serious collectors seeking contemporary cards with visual distinction. Scyther's shiny form presents the iconic Bug/Flying-type in striking new colors, transforming its familiar silhouette into something collectors haven't seen before. The artwork captures Scyther mid-action, showcasing the artistry that goes into bringing these alternate forms to life. Shiny Pokémon cards remain popular among those building thematic collections or seeking variants of their favorite creatures.
