Destined Rivals arrived in 2025 as a pivotal set celebrating competitive Pokemon TCG culture. The set emphasized fan-favorite cards with reverse holo treatments, offering collectors striking visual alternatives to traditional printings. During this period, reverse holos experienced renewed collector enthusiasm, making sets like this essential for those building comprehensive modern collections. Mankey's reverse holo treatment brings dynamic energy to this fighting-type classic. The card captures the Pokemon's scrappy, combative nature through its artwork, appealing to players and collectors who value both nostalgic favorites and contemporary card presentation. As card #90, it represents the set's deeper roster of compelling chase cards.
