Pokémon Destined Rivals arrived in 2025 as a set built around competitive matchups and rival dynamics central to the franchise. The set marked an important moment in the modern Pokémon TCG era, continuing the game's evolution with fresh mechanics and stunning visual treatments. Reverse holo cards from this period became particularly sought after by collectors who valued the alternative aesthetic while maintaining the card's competitive playability. Huntail represents an interesting deep-cut selection from the set—a Stage 1 evolution that appeals to players building specific strategies and collectors drawn to underseen Pokémon. The reverse holo treatment transforms the card's artwork into something collectors find more visually striking than standard versions, making it a natural target for those building complete reverse holo collections from Destined Rivals.
