Pokémon Destined Rivals arrived in 2025 as a set focused on rival trainers and their signature Pokémon, representing a creative departure from traditional set structures. The theme allowed for unique trainer-character cards and spotlight Pokémon in fresh contexts, making it appealing to collectors interested in character-driven narratives within the TCG. This set marked an interesting moment in modern Pokémon card design, blending competitive gameplay with collectible appeal. Marnie's Scraggy captures the Dark-type trainer's iconic partnership with her scrappy fighting companion. The reverse holo treatment adds visual depth to the card's artwork, making it particularly attractive to collectors who appreciate both character representation and aesthetic presentation. Fans of Marnie specifically seek out her character cards as part of dedicated collections.
