The Weiss Schwarz Disney100 set arrived in 2023 as a celebration of Disney's centennial, bringing together the Japanese trading card game's signature anime-style aesthetic with beloved characters from across the studio's century-long history. This crossover captured a moment when nostalgia and collecting culture intersected, making it one of the year's most anticipated anime card releases among both casual fans and serious collectors. Laid-Back Goofy presents the character in characteristically relaxed form, embodying the lighthearted charm that has made him a Disney standby since the 1930s. Collectors appreciate this card for its fresh interpretation of a classic character alongside the set's broader appeal—blending Western animation heritage with Japanese card game artistry in a way that resonates across collecting communities.
