The Weiss Schwarz Disney100 set celebrated a century of Disney animation with a Japanese trading card release in 2023. As part of the broader Disney100 anniversary campaign, this set captured the global excitement around the milestone, offering collectors character-driven designs that reflected Disney's most beloved films. Weiss Schwarz's anime-influenced card aesthetic brought a fresh visual language to Disney properties, appealing to both traditional card collectors and anime enthusiasts. This card features Moana alongside the ocean companions central to her journey—a perfect encapsulation of the film's themes of connection and adventure. The artwork captures the vibrant, tropical energy that defines the 2016 film, making it a natural draw for Disney and Moana fans. As a Super Rare designation, it represents a more challenging pull from the set, appealing to collectors building complete Disney100 collections or those drawn to Polynesian representation in modern card releases.
