Guardians Rising arrived in 2017 as one of the Sun & Moon era's defining sets, marking a shift toward full-art supporter cards that transformed how collectors viewed non-Pokémon cards. The set introduced the stunning illustration style that would define the generation, making supporter cards genuinely collectible rather than purely functional. It remains a touchstone for players and collectors seeking the aesthetic heart of modern Pokémon TCG. Mallow's full-art treatment captures the character with vibrant tropical imagery befitting Alola's island setting. Her card stands out as a beautifully rendered piece that collectors appreciate both for its artwork and as a representation of when supporter cards became central to collecting culture, not mere game pieces.
