Modern Horizons 3 continued the innovative tradition of its predecessor sets, introducing new mechanics and reprints designed specifically for eternal formats rather than Standard play. Released in 2024, the set represented Wizards of the Coast's commitment to deepening the competitive landscape and providing fresh strategic options for players across Magic's most popular constructed formats. The Mythic Rares in this set, including planeswalkers, became particularly sought after by collectors and competitive players alike. Tamiyo, Seasoned Scholar depicts the beloved character as a mature scholar and planeswalker, reflecting her evolution across Magic's narrative. Her blue-based abilities reward card draw and control strategies, making her valuable both competitively and for collectors building around her character. Planeswalker cards remain perennial favorites in the hobby, cherished for their narrative significance and dynamic artwork.
