Dragon Frontiers (2006) represents the final set of the EX era, a defining period in Pokemon TCG history. Released during the franchise's peak competitive years, this set marked the transition between gameplay eras while delivering sought-after cards that shaped tournament metagames. The set remains memorable for its dragon-themed focus and the prevalence of powerful ex mechanics that dominated play during this window. Natu, the tiny psychic bird from Hoenn, appears here as a modest but charming inclusion. Collectors appreciate early evolution Pokemon like Natu for their artwork and nostalgic appeal, particularly from this influential era. Though not a powerhouse card competitively, it represents the complete pokedex philosophy that made Pokemon TCG sets collectible across all rarity levels.
