Pokémon Destined Rivals arrived in 2025 as a set celebrating powerful partnerships and evolution lines across the franchise. The era marked continued collector enthusiasm for ex-variant cards and full-art ultra rares, with Destined Rivals positioned as a premium release featuring competitive and fan-favorite Pokémon. The set resonated with players and collectors seeking striking artwork and mechanically interesting cards. Team Rocket's Crobat ex brings the Johto villain organization into the modern card game, pairing the evolution line with Team Rocket's notorious legacy. Collectors are drawn to this card for its unique characterization, merging Crobat's speed and precision with the organization's darker aesthetic. The full-art ultra rare treatment elevates the card's visual impact for fans of both the character and the Team Rocket storyline.
