Hidden Legends emerged in 2004 during the Pokémon Trading Card Game's EX era, a period celebrated for introducing powerful dual-type mechanics and stunning holographic treatments. This set captured collector attention through its blend of competitive playability and artistic appeal, representing a sweet spot when the hobby balanced serious gameplay with visual artistry that rewarded set completion. Registeel, one of the legendary trio from Hoenn, appears here as a holo rare that exemplifies the set's technical illustration style. Collectors appreciate this card for its representation of the steel legendary, whose design translates beautifully into the holographic format—a fitting tribute to one of Pokémon's most visually distinctive mythical creatures.
