Twilight Masquerade marked a significant moment in the Pokémon TCG's modern era, arriving in 2024 when the hobby continued its robust growth post-pandemic. The set showcased the game's commitment to innovative special editions and premium releases, with the Cosmos Holo treatment representing the kind of visual experimentation collectors increasingly sought. Promo versions like this one, distinguished by the Pokémon League stamp, added layers of collectibility that appealed to both competitive players and serious hobbyists. Conkeldurr, the powerful Fighting-type evolution, made for compelling artwork on this cosmos variant. The shimmering holo pattern complements the Pokémon's imposing presence, and the promo stamp designation places it outside standard booster releases, making it a natural target for set builders and those drawn to exclusive printings.
