Upper Deck Marvel Masterpieces returned in 2022 with a fresh take on the classic trading card formula, bringing fine art sensibilities to the superhero genre. The variant cover editions added collectible scarcity, making these releases particularly appealing to both card enthusiasts and Marvel fans seeking premium, gallery-quality designs that elevated the medium beyond traditional sports card aesthetics. Squirrel Girl represents one of Marvel's most charming and underrated characters, beloved for her humor, heart, and surprising combat effectiveness. Collectors gravitate toward her appearances in modern sets as she's gained renewed appreciation among fans, making variant versions like this one sought-after additions to contemporary Marvel card collections.
