Shining Fates arrived in early 2021 as a landmark set that reinvigorated Pokémon TCG collecting. Released during unprecedented demand, it paired classic Galar region Pokémon with modern holofoil technology, creating a set that appealed to longtime players and new collectors alike. The Shiny Vault subset became the set's crown jewel, featuring alternate colorations of popular Pokémon in premium holo patterns that collectors pursued eagerly. Dubwool's shiny form presents the woolly sheep Pokémon in striking silver tones, a dramatic departure from its standard appearance. The Shiny Vault treatment amplifies its appeal with eye-catching holofoil work that captures light beautifully. This card represents the intersection of novelty and nostalgia that made Shining Fates so collectible during a pivotal moment for the hobby.
