Shining Fates arrived in early 2021 as a landmark set for the Pokémon TCG, arriving at the height of renewed collector interest and capturing unprecedented demand. The Shiny Vault subset became particularly celebrated, reframing classic Pokémon with alternate colorways and premium presentation. This era defined modern collecting, with Shining Fates remaining one of the most sought sets from the post-2020 boom. Thievul's shiny form presents the mischievous Pokémon in striking purple tones, a dramatic departure from its standard appearance. The holo artwork captures personality and movement, making this card appealing to both shiny enthusiasts and those drawn to Thievul's character design. It represents the subset's appeal: familiar Pokémon rendered fresh through alternative coloration and premium foiling techniques.
