Star Wars Unlimited launched in 2024 as a new trading card game combining strategic gameplay with the beloved Star Wars universe. The Twilight of the Republic set focuses on the prequel trilogy era, capturing the political intrigue and character conflicts that defined those films. This inaugural release established the foundation for what collectors hoped would become a major competitive and collectible phenomenon. Nute Gunray, the Neimoidian viceroy, represents a key antagonist from the prequel saga. As a low-numbered card in the set, this early release carries significance for players and collectors building foundational collections. The character's pivotal role in triggering the events of Episodes I-III makes this card particularly appealing to prequel-era enthusiasts and those seeking to complete their Twilight of the Republic sets.
