Star Wars Unlimited launched Fantasy Flight Games' trading card game into a new era with the Twilight of the Republic set in 2024. This foundational release established the game's mechanics and aesthetic, drawing heavily from the prequel trilogy to build an accessible entry point for both Star Wars fans and TCG newcomers. The set became central to the game's early competitive landscape and casual appeal alike. Plo Koon represents one of the beloved Jedi Council members from the prequels, rendered in the card's distinctive illustrated style. Collectors appreciate characters from the Clone Wars era for their connection to the rich storytelling of that period, making this card a natural draw for those building thematic collections or pursuing complete set runs.
