Topps Star Wars Masterwork arrived in 2015 as a premium offering that elevated Star Wars card collecting to gallery-quality standards. The set emphasized artistic interpretation and sophisticated design, appealing to collectors who appreciated both the hobby's technical aspects and fine art aesthetics. This was a pivotal moment when Star Wars collecting had matured significantly, attracting serious hobbyists alongside casual fans. Greedo, the Rodian bounty hunter from the original trilogy, appears here as card 30. This character has long held cultural resonance beyond his brief screen time, making him a popular subject for artists and collectors. The Masterwork treatment transforms the character into a striking portrait, capturing the kind of detailed, character-focused approach that defines the set.
