Romance Dawn marked One Piece's entry into the Bandai TCG landscape during a period of explosive anime trading card growth. As the flagship set launching the property's card game, it established the foundation for the franchise's competitive and collecting communities while introducing artwork and character selections that defined early metagame strategy and set collection goals for years to come. Nekomamushi appears here as an errata printing, a designation reflecting the set's complex early production history. The character, a prominent Mink warrior from the series, represents the diverse cast that collectors sought to complete their Romance Dawn collections. Box toppers remained among the most coveted pulls from the product, making this card a notable centerpiece for dedicated One Piece enthusiasts.
