Breygent's Classic Vintage Movie Posters set arrived in 2009 as a nostalgic celebration of Golden Age cinema, capturing theatrical artwork from Hollywood's most glamorous era. The set bridged trading card collecting and film history, appealing equally to movie enthusiasts and card hobbyists seeking something beyond sports and entertainment celebrities. These cards preserved the visual language of 1930s and 1940s promotional design, introducing new audiences to the artistry of vintage poster illustration. "Thirteen Hours By Air" represents early aviation cinema, a genre that captivated Depression-era audiences with tales of speed, danger, and technological progress. The 1936 film's poster artwork exemplifies the era's bold typography and dramatic imagery. Collectors prize cards from this set for their ability to document both forgotten films and the remarkable commercial art that once lined cinema lobbies across America.
