Card Notes
The 1991 Bandai Carddass Dragon Ball Visual Adventure series represents a pivotal moment in Japanese trading card history, when the hobby was rapidly evolving beyond sports cards. These prism cards featured innovative holographic technology that captured the vibrant energy of Akira Toriyama's artwork, making them highly sought by collectors who cherished the Dragon Ball franchise during its original anime run. The Visual Adventure line became legendary for its beautiful card stock and dynamic character designs. Bulma appears here as one of the franchise's most iconic characters, and her inclusion in this early prism set holds particular appeal for fans and vintage card enthusiasts. The interplay of the prism finish with her character artwork showcases the technical ambitions of early 1990s card manufacturing in Japan.
