Card Notes
The Carddass Visual Adventure Special series represents a notable chapter in Japanese Dragon Ball collectibles, released during a period of sustained interest in the franchise across multiple media formats. These prism cards combined holographic technology with iconic imagery from the original series, appealing to both longtime fans and new collectors discovering Dragon Ball through various revival projects and anniversaries during the early 2010s. "The Saiyans Arrive!!" captures one of the franchise's most pivotal story moments—the introduction of extraterrestrial threats that fundamentally shifted Dragon Ball's scope and stakes. The prism treatment transforms this dramatic turning point into a visually striking card, making it a centerpiece for collectors focused on key narrative events and the technical artistry of the Carddass format.
