The Dragon Ball Art Card set emerged during the early 2020s as an unlicensed tribute to the beloved franchise. These independent releases filled a niche for collectors seeking alternative artwork and interpretations of iconic characters outside traditional licensed products. The set's 688-card scope showcases the breadth of passion within the collecting community for Dragon Ball's enduring cultural impact. Son Goku, the protagonist of the franchise, appears here as card 6 in the checklist. This card captures the character that defined shonen anime for generations of fans. Collectors pursue Goku representations across different artistic styles and sets, making early entries from specialty releases like this one appealing to those documenting the character's presence across the hobby's diverse offerings.
