Pokemon VSTAR Universe represents the final major Japanese set release of the Sword & Shield era, arriving in 2022 as a celebration of the generation's most iconic characters and mechanics. The set is remembered for its exceptional full-art and special illustration rare cards, which revitalized collector interest during a period of market saturation. It remains a landmark release that bridged the gap between Sword & Shield's conclusion and the beginning of the Scarlet & Violet generation. Lapras appears here as a reverse holo, capturing the beloved Water-type in striking detail. The card exemplifies the set's commitment to delivering premium artwork and presentation across its entire spectrum. Collectors value Lapras cards from this era for their artistic quality and the character's enduring popularity spanning multiple Pokemon generations.
