Garbage Pail Kids dominated the mid-1980s as the irreverent answer to sanctioned collectibles. Topps created a phenomenon that horrified parents while captivating kids, blending crude humor with surprisingly imaginative artwork. The 1987 stickers represent the series at peak popularity, when GPK trading culture was at its cultural zenith. These cards remain beloved for their satirical spirit and artistic variety that challenged what trading cards could be. "Have A Nice Dave" exemplifies GPK's dark wordplay and visual wit. The series thrived on these punchy, grotesque reimaginings that appealed to collectors' taste for the absurd and macabre. Sticker variants like this one carry special appeal among enthusiasts seeking the full range of GPK releases from this golden era.
