Topps Raiders of the Lost Ark arrived in 1981 as a landmark issue—one of the first major theatrical release trading card sets capturing a blockbuster film's excitement. The set represented a pivotal moment when card manufacturers expanded beyond sports into entertainment, introducing movie cards to collectors nationwide.
