Comic Images' 1991 Hulk set arrived during a golden age of non-sports trading cards, when Marvel properties dominated collector interest alongside sports. These sets captured fan enthusiasm for the character through vibrant artwork and accessible pricing, making them staples of early 90s collections and introducing many to comic card collecting beyond traditional baseball and football releases. Card #5, "What's Wrong," depicts a pivotal moment exploring Bruce Banner's internal conflict—the psychological tension that defined the character across decades of comics. Collectors appreciate this card for its dynamic artwork and its focus on the emotional core of the Hulk mythos rather than simple action spectacle.
