Comic Images' 1991 Incredible Hulk set arrived during the early boom of non-sports trading cards, when publishers capitalized on renewed interest in superhero properties ahead of major film adaptations. These colorful sets offered affordable collecting alongside traditional sports cards, appealing to comic fans and casual collectors alike. The Hulk's enduring popularity made this Marvel property a natural subject for the trading card medium during a period of creative expansion in the hobby. Card #26, "Take-Over," captures one of the Hulk's most iconic moments—his raw power and transformation at its most dramatic. The artwork emphasizes the character's unstoppable force, making this a sought-after card among Hulk enthusiasts and Marvel collectors who value the set's vibrant visual storytelling and nostalgic connection to early nineties pop culture.
