Comic Images released their Incredible Hulk set in 1991 during the early boom of non-sports trading cards. This era saw publishers exploring Marvel properties with enthusiasm, creating collectible sets that captured the character-driven storytelling fans loved. These sets became foundational to how collectors engaged with comic book imagery outside of traditional comic issues. The Betty card depicts one of the Hulk mythos's most significant characters, Betty Ross Banner. Her complex relationship with Bruce Banner and her own evolution throughout the comics makes her a compelling subject for collectors. Fans of the character and those building complete Hulk collections actively seek this card as an essential piece of the narrative framework.
