Comic Images released The Incredible Hulk trading card set in 1991, capturing the character during a golden period of Marvel multimedia expansion. The early '90s saw trading cards evolve beyond sports, with publishers racing to offer collectible imagery tied to comic books and animated series. This set remains a snapshot of how the hobby embraced comic properties alongside traditional card categories, appealing to fans who wanted affordable, collectible artwork of their favorite characters. Card #36, "I Get It!", depicts a pivotal moment of the Hulk's characteristic frustration and raw power. The artwork captures Bruce Banner's alter ego in a moment of clarity mixed with barely contained rage—a visual shorthand for the character's internal conflict that defined decades of storytelling. Collectors appreciate these character-driven cards for their bold artwork and their connection to classic Hulk characterization.
