Comic Images' 1991 Hulk set arrived during the trading card boom when non-sports cards flourished alongside their sports counterparts. This release captured collectors' enthusiasm for Marvel properties before superhero cards became dominated by major publishers. The set offered fans an accessible way to collect colorful, character-driven imagery from one of Marvel's most iconic properties, cementing its place in early '90s pop culture collecting. Card 75, "Murderer," presents a dramatic moment featuring one of the Hulk's most intense storylines. The card's compelling artwork and subject matter draw collectors interested in the character's darker narrative threads and pivotal comic book moments. These character-specific cards remain popular with Hulk enthusiasts and vintage Marvel collectors alike.
