2026 WhatNot Streamer YodieWay Art Card - Auto · #ø

Authenticated Crown Grading · reviewed Oct 31, 2026

Findings

Signer
YodieWay
Autograph
Signed directly on the card, front side
Handwriting
Matches the known signatures it was compared with. (8 known signatures)
Printed or copied?
No halftone or dot pattern is visible in the ink at this resolution. Stroke width varies naturally and ends taper. Position and size differ from every reference rather than repeating exactly, which argues against a printed facsimile. Live ink still needs physical confirmation (sheen, stroke overlap, ink sitting on top of the gloss).
Decision
Authenticated by Crown Grading after staff review.

Signature comparison

This card. The signature as cropped from the slab photo (front).

Below, the known examples Crown compared it with. Examples with stronger proof (signed in front of staff, or certified by an independent authenticator) carry the most weight.

Overall form and proportionsCompact two-tier layout: a large open left bowl, 'ODIE' small and rising diagonally above, 'WA' plus a Y-hook below, and a right bowl closing the composition. Height to width is 0.74.The same two-tier bowl–ODIE–WAY–bowl architecture appears in R1–R8. Height to width runs 0.665–0.859 across R1, R2 and R4.Match
Slant and baselineUpright strokes lean slightly back (-8.0°). The 'ODIE' line climbs up and to the right, and the 'WA' line also rises.Upright slant is -9.8° to -11.4° in R1, R2 and R4. The same ascending ODIE/WA baselines appear in all references.Match
Letter construction'ODIE' is in small separated capitals with a hooked E. 'WA' is in larger capitals. The Y is built into a right-side hook resembling a '5' or 'S'.R1, R2 and R4 show the same small ODIE capitals and the same WA plus hooked-Y ending. R3 and R5–R8 show the same ODIE placement inside the bowls.Match
Starting strokeA small '4'- or arrow-like mark at far left, separate from the left bowl. The same small arrow/'4' start mark appears at left in R1–R8 (clearly in R1, R2, R3, R4 and R6).Match
Ending strokes and flourishThe right bowl finishes with a small hook at top right. Long diagonal underline slash(es) run down-left beneath WA.R1, R2 and R4 have the same top-right hook and long diagonal underlines. R3 shows a double underline. R6–R8 show multiple short slashes.Match
Connecting strokes and pen liftsMostly disconnected. 15 separate strokes and no fully closed loops measured.9–13 separate strokes and 2–4 closed loops in R1, R2 and R4. The bowls in R1 are also largely open.Natural variation
Line quality and speedStrokes look fluid with tapered entries and exits on the underline and bowls. No visible tremor or blunt, drawn starts at this resolution.Same fast marker-style execution in the references.Match
Pen pressure patternModerate thick-thin variation in the bowls and underline (thickness variation 0.477).0.423–0.476. Similar marker pressure behaviour.Match
SpacingODIE is tightly spaced and nested inside the bowl gap. WA is spaced beneath with the Y-hook close to the right bowl.Same nesting and spacing in R1–R8.Match
Placement and sizeLower right of the art, over the fur/blue armour and lightning area, above the flames.Same zone on every reference. Exact position and size shift slightly from card to card, which points to hand signing rather than a fixed facsimile.Match

Measurements

Software traced the ink and measured it against the known examples. The shaded band is the signer's normal range across those examples; the gold marker is this card.

The computer compared the shape of this signature with three cleanly traceable reference signatures. The lean of the upright strokes, the overall height-to-width shape, the amount of ink line per width, and the thick-thin pen pressure all fall comfortably within the range the signer shows across his own references. Two counts sit near the outer edge of his normal variation, though still within it: fewer fully closed loops (0 versus an average of 3) and a few more separate pen strokes (15 versus an average of 11). Both are easily affected by photo quality and by how quickly the bowls were finished. Overall the numbers support the visual finding that this signature is consistent with YodieWay's authenticated examples.

Examiner notes

Ours (serial 000054668, 2026 'No. ø' WhatNot Streamer YodieWay Art Card) falls inside the serial range of the references (000050495–000065297). All references are the same 2026 art card signed in the same area of the art, so they are contemporaneous with ours and no career-era drift is expected. Small differences in loop closure and stroke count are signing-to-signing and pen variation within one short period.

  • No forgery indicators visible at this resolution.
  • Closed-loop count (0 vs reference average 3) sits at the edge of normal (2.0 spreads). It is photo-sensitive and likely reflects open bowls on this signing, but worth a loupe look.
  • Ink-on-surface versus printed cannot be confirmed from the scan.

How Crown authenticates autographs: the signature is compared with known examples gathered from Crown's own authenticated cards, independent authenticators and public listings, measured by software, examined by an AI forensic model, and signed off by Crown Grading staff. The decision above is Crown's.
