CenteringCentering on the front face shows a left border that is measurably thicker than the right border, with the left and bottom borders on the reverse presenting wider than the right and top borders respectively. The variance is minor and consistent with a centering grade of 9.5, representing a slight but perceptible deviation from true center on both faces.
CornersA noticeable silver ring is present on the top-right corner as viewed from the front face of the card. The remaining corners exhibit wear consistent with a grade of 8.5. The silver ring on the top-right corner is the primary factor bearing on this subgrade.
EdgesSilvering is present along multiple edges on the front face of the card, most notably on the top edge and the right-side edge, with additional light silvering observed along the left edge as well. The aggregate edge condition is consistent with a grade of 8.5.
SurfaceThe front surface exhibits a distinct print line running the full vertical length of the card, passing through the 5000 power lettering, continuing through the subject's hair, and extending into the holographic pattern at the bottom of the card. The print line is not readily visible under normal ambient light but is clearly and unambiguously present under bright light and magnification. Additional ink contamination dots are present within the flat black holographic region at the upper portion of the front image, as well as within the flat silver holographic region at the lower portion of the front face. On the reverse, a faint scratch line crosses through the top needle of the compass graphic and extends just off to the right of that needle. The cumulative surface defects are consistent with a grade of 8.
