Released in 1999, Pokémon: The First Movie arrived at the height of a cultural phenomenon that had swept from Game Boy screens and trading cards into television and, finally, cinemas. For a generation of young fans, it was a milestone: the first chance to see these characters on the big screen. Its theatrical trailer served as an early glimpse of that event, building anticipation and capturing the excitement of a franchise that would go on to define an era of animation and childhood memory.

This particular cell features Seel, one of the familiar water-type Pokémon whose cheerful design helped populate that beloved world. Owning a physical frame from the trailer means holding an actual piece of the 35mm print that once ran through a projector, a tangible fragment of film history rather than a reproduction.
