Released in 2001, Pokémon 4Ever arrived at a moment when the franchise had become a defining part of a generation's childhood, moving fluidly between television, trading cards, and the big screen. As the fourth theatrical Pokémon feature to reach international audiences, it carried forward the series' gentle themes of friendship, nature, and the bond between people and their Pokémon, offering younger viewers a heartfelt story to accompany the phenomenon they were already living through.
