Released by Paramount Pictures in May 1986 and directed by Tony Scott, Top Gun became one of the defining blockbusters of the decade, pairing Tom Cruise and Kelly McGillis against a backdrop of Naval aviation and Cold War tension. Produced by Don Simpson and Jerry Bruckheimer, it launched a cultural phenomenon and remains a landmark of 1980s cinema.

These three consecutive 35mm frames capture the film's main title card in its theatrical presentation — the iconic red-and-white 'Top Gun' logo flanked by the star-and-wings emblem, with the principal producer and star credits displayed. The optical soundtrack strip is clearly visible along the lower edge, consistent with a standard theatrical release print.
