Good Burger arrived in theaters in August 1997 through Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies, expanding the beloved sketch character Ed from Nickelodeon's All That into a full-length feature. The film captured a particular moment in mid-nineties youth culture and remains a touchstone for a generation raised on the network's programming.
This cell, titled Ed, the Cheerful and Eccentric Cashier, presents three consecutive frames of Kel Mitchell as Ed, photographed from a low angle at the Good Burger counter with sandwiches raised overhead. The upward perspective gives the image an almost triumphant quality, and the repeated frames offer a rare look at the subtle movement held within a single cinematic moment.
