Titanic was produced by Paramount Pictures and Twentieth Century Fox and released in December 1997. Directed by James Cameron, the film became the highest-grossing motion picture of its time and won eleven Academy Awards, including Best Picture. It remains a landmark of late-twentieth-century Hollywood filmmaking, blending large-scale disaster spectacle with intimate character drama drawn from the 1912 sinking of the RMS Titanic.
This cell, titled Jack and Rose, presents three consecutive frames from a dimly lit interior moment featuring Jack Dawson, portrayed by Leonardo DiCaprio. Rose DeWitt Bukater, portrayed by Kate Winslet, appears partially at the frame edge. The low-key lighting and Jack's relaxed expression suggest a quiet scene between the two characters. Slight variations in grain across the frames reflect natural film curl from the original 35mm print.
