Treasure Planet was released by Walt Disney Feature Animation in November 2002, a bold reimagining of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic novel transplanted into a retro-futuristic space setting. Directed by Ron Clements and John Musker, the film represented one of the studio's most ambitious and technically complex productions of the era, blending traditional hand-drawn animation with CG environments at a scale rarely attempted before or since.

This cell, titled Jim Hawkins, captures three distinct moments from the film. The first frame presents Jim in striking silhouette against an expansive alien savanna beneath a darkened sky. The following two frames move inside, where Jim, Long John Silver, and B.E.N. share the scene amid giraffe-patterned surfaces and visible mechanical detail, suggesting the interior world of the RLS Legacy or Treasure Planet itself.
