Treasure Planet was released by Walt Disney Pictures in November 2002, directed by Ron Clements and John Musker, the team behind The Little Mermaid and Aladdin. The film reimagined Robert Louis Stevenson's classic novel in an interstellar setting, blending traditional hand-drawn animation with early CG environments. Though modestly received at the box office, it has earned a devoted following over the decades for its ambitious visual scope and emotional sincerity.
