Treasure Planet arrived in November 2002 from Walt Disney Feature Animation, representing one of the studio's most ambitious late-era traditionally animated productions. Directors Ron Clements and John Musker transposed Robert Louis Stevenson's classic seafaring novel into a retro-futurist cosmos, blending hand-drawn character animation with extensive CGI environments. The film occupies a distinctive place in Disney history, arriving near the close of a celebrated chapter in the studio's output.

This cell captures Jim Hawkins in a kinetic sequence aboard the RLS Legacy, his figure moving dynamically through the ship's rigging against a brooding, cloud-filled sky.
