Treasure Planet was released by Walt Disney Feature Animation in November 2002, representing one of the studio's most ambitious productions of the early 2000s. A science-fiction reimagining of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic novel, the film blended traditional hand-drawn character animation with extensive CGI environments. Though it struggled commercially upon release, it has since earned a devoted following for its visual inventiveness and emotional depth.

This cell, titled Long John Silver, captures three sequential frames of the film's central antagonist in a striking low-angle composition, his cyborg form framed against ship rigging and open sky. Billy Bones also appears within the frames. The upward perspective emphasizes Silver's imposing physical presence, making this a visually compelling sequence from one of the film's most memorable characters.
