Universal Pictures released The Fast and the Furious in June 2001, directed by Rob Cohen. Built around street racing culture and heist mechanics, the film became an unexpected commercial phenomenon and launched one of the longest-running franchises in studio history. Shot on location in Los Angeles, cinematographer Erin Elswit used practical night lighting and dynamic camera work to ground the action in a recognizable urban world.

This cell, titled Night Street Racing, captures frames from that nocturnal racing environment. The imagery reflects the film's signature visual language: bokeh city lights dissolving into darkness, a silhouetted figure caught mid-sequence, and the reflective surfaces of cars cutting through the Los Angeles night.
