Atlantic Releasing Corporation brought The Garbage Pail Kids Movie to theaters in August 1987, adapting the wildly popular Topps trading card series that had scandalized parents and delighted children throughout the mid-1980s. Directed by Rod Amateau, the film remains a singular artifact of late Reagan-era pop culture transgression, blending practical creature effects with deliberately crude humor aimed squarely at the elementary school set that made the cards a phenomenon.

This cell captures Valerie, Greaser, Messy, and Foul Phil together in what appears to be the film's fashion show sequence, the four characters posed against a glittery metallic backdrop in their pink and black costuming.
